Interim Legal for Companies and Law Firms

An international listed life sciences company is expanding into the European market. To support the local General Counsel, two of our Senior Legal Counsel are assigned to enable the growth strategy and mitigate the increased legal workload.

To implement the new GDPR, one of our data privacy SMEs is onboarded to conduct a gap analysis and subsequently translate all required regulatory measures into the existing compliance and risk management framework. As part of the project, a Junior Legal Counsel is additionally brought in for a comprehensive contract review.

A leading industrial company requires additional resources in the course of a cross-border transaction. One of our senior counsel is integrated into the internal Corporate/M&A team for twelve months, coordinating the external counsel at the group level and internal local counsel of the regional entities.

A financial institution is implementing a project to manage transaction alerts and conduct a KYC upgrade program due to an adjustment to the risk management framework. Our external task force, incl. a table head, was onboarded with full access and able to complete the project within ten months, reporting directly to internal compliance.

One of our senior counsel with relevant industry experience is assigned to an international industrial company for nine months as interim coverage. A one-month overlap with the person taking parental leave guaranteed a smooth handover. Consequently, spending on external counsel was substantially reduced.

As part of an extensive internal investigation, the Internal Investigations team is supported by our experienced specialists (i.a. on interviews, file reviews and project management). In the course of the investigation, large quantities of Arabic-language files were found, prompting the team to quickly expand by adding two Arabic-speaking specialists. With the help of our external team, the Head Investigations was able to complete the investigation report on time.
