LEGAL & COMPLIANCE · PERMANENT PLACEMENT

Executive search and permanent recruiting for legal & compliance

We fill legal and compliance positions on a permanent basis for companies in Switzerland and Germany: through executive search and permanent recruiting, from junior to senior and for leadership roles. You make the hiring decision and become the employer. If needed, we bridge the time until the start date with interim support.

Our focus is temporary support through staff leasing and freelancing. Permanent placement complements this when your need is permanent.

We start from your need, not from the contract model: interim, permanent or one after the other.

WHEN A PERMANENT HIRE FITS

When is a permanent hire better than an interim solution?

The need is permanent.

The work belongs in your team for the long term, for example a newly created legal counsel or compliance officer position. A permanent appointment is then the right target structure.

A key or leadership role is open.

For roles such as head of legal, general counsel or head of compliance, we search specifically for people with the right experience and leadership responsibility. Until the role is filled, an interim head of legal can take over the function.

An interim assignment becomes a permanent role.

Someone who already works in the team knows the tasks and processes. A move into your team (temp-to-perm) is possible. If a position is open, an interim professional can provide vacancy cover until the start date.

Legal framework for permanent placement in Switzerland and Germany

Permanent placement in Switzerland

Private recruitment and placement requires a licence if it is carried out regularly and for a fee. What counts is the activity, not the label; executive search is included (Art. 2 AVG; SECO directives on the AVG, section 2.1.1; as of 30 Oct 2026). Alpinum Solutions AG holds a licence for private recruitment and placement.

Permanent placement in Germany

Private recruitment and placement is governed by sections 296 et seq. of the German Social Code III (SGB III). If the job seeker pays, the fee is due only on success and is capped by law; advance payments are not permitted (section 296 SGB III, as of 30 Oct 2026). As a rule, the hiring company pays the fee.

Freelancing model

Contract: engagement with an independent professional. Direction: the professional delivers the work independently within the agreed mandate. Duration: temporary, for clearly defined tasks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions about permanent placement with Alpinum

What role does permanent placement play at Alpinum?

Our focus is temporary legal and compliance support through staff leasing and freelancing. We also offer permanent placement through executive search and permanent recruiting when a need is permanent. We start from your need, not from the contract model.

How does executive search differ from permanent recruiting?

Executive search means the targeted search for leaders and key people, for example a head of legal or head of compliance. Permanent recruiting covers specialist roles at all levels, such as legal counsel or compliance officer. In Switzerland, both count as private recruitment and placement (SECO directives on the AVG, section 2.1.1; as of 30 Oct 2026).

Can an interim professional join our team permanently?

Yes, a move into your team (temp-to-perm) is possible. Let us know early if you are considering it, so we can plan the assignment and the transition together.

Can you cover the gap until the permanent hire starts?

Yes. An interim professional takes on the urgent work through staff leasing or freelancing, part-time or full-time, until the permanent hire starts. The search and the interim cover run in parallel; you decide when the handover takes place. More on the decision in our guide interim lawyer, law firm or permanent hire.
