Legal Counsel

• Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and legal documents, including supplier, collaboration, sponsorship, donation and rental agreements, NDAs and legal memoranda.
• Manage contract negotiations independently, assess legal risks, develop practical business-oriented solutions and escalate complex issues where appropriate.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal stakeholders across a variety of legal and corporate matters.
• Support compliance activities, including third-party due diligence, internal compliance processes, data protection matters and the drafting and updating of internal policies.
• Contribute to legal and compliance projects, including the evaluation and implementation of compliance tools, legal input for new systems and support on implementation initiatives.

• Swiss law degree.
• At least 4 years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained in an in-house Legal Counsel role.
• Strong experience in commercial contracting, including independent review and negotiation of agreements.
• Solid exposure to compliance, data protection and general corporate legal matters.
• Business-oriented judgement with strong analytical skills and the ability to assess legal risk pragmatically.
• Fluent English is required.
• Desirable: Swiss Bar admission
• Desirable: Life Sciences or Healthcare sector exposure
