For our latest exciting assignment, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Compliance Officer to join our client's team in Basel.

Aufgaben
- Monitor and investigate AML alerts and follow up on compliance-related cases to support timely resolution.
- Conduct client screening and background checks covering sanctions, politically exposed persons and adverse media findings.
- Perform KYC and Enhanced Due Diligence reviews for high-risk clients and transactions, including source of funds and related risk assessments.
- Review client documentation and complex relationship structures to assess accuracy, completeness and compliance relevance.
- Prepare clear compliance assessments and EDD reports with findings, risk evaluations and recommendations for further action.
Erfahrung und Qualifikationen
- Several years of compliance experience within a Swiss bank or financial institution.
- Strong practical expertise in AML, KYC, EDD, sanctions screening and financial crime compliance.
- Good understanding of Swiss AML regulations and FINMA requirements.
- Proven ability to review complex client relationships and high-risk transactions independently and with a high level of quality.
- Degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related field, and/or relevant compliance certification.
- German and English are required.
