Alpinum Solutions is the leading Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) in Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein, specializing in Interim Legal & Compliance workforce solutions for complex mandates.
For our client in the financial sector, we are looking for a (Senior) Onboarding Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & client data
- Lead and execute full client onboarding for individuals and legal entities
- Maintain and update client static data in core systems
- Manage client documentation across the full lifecycle, ensuring proper archiving and record-keeping
Regulatory controls & compliance (FATCA · CRS · QI)
- Act as subject matter expert and owner of FATCA, CRS, and QI controls, reconciliations, and exception handling
- Conduct and enhance L1 controls and reconciliations for FATCA and CRS reporting
- Monitor QI withholding processes and manage arising exceptions
- Primary contact for compliance and external auditors
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or related field (or equivalent)
- 10+ years in the financial industry
- Strong expertise in client onboarding, complex structures, and regulations (FATCA, CRS, QI)
- Detail-oriented, analytical team player with strong systems skills; fluent in English (German a plus)
