Alpinum Solutions is the leading Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) in Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein, specializing in Interim Legal & Compliance workforce solutions for complex mandates.
For our client, we are looking for an Interim Senior Legal Counsel to support the General Counsel during a period of business growth, acquisitions and increased legal workload across the UK portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- General legal operations support for the UK portfolio and group companies
- Business partnering and legal support to senior management
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
- Drive and support M&A transactions in the UK and Ireland
- Review public and private tender documentation
- Assess legal and commercial risks
- Develop and improve contract management processes
- Support corporate governance activities
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders
- Support the Aviation portfolio and other international legal operations
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with strong UK legal experience
- 8+ years' experience in an international law firm or in-house legal department
- Strong knowledge of UK law
- Experience in M&A and/or UK Public Procurement
- Commercial contracts experience
- Experience supporting international businesses
- Technology / Software / SaaS industry experience is an advantage
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced international environment
