Alpinum Solutions is a leading provider of managed legal services in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein.
For our client, a financial institution, we are looking for a Regulatory Lawyer for a 4+ month assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal and regulatory advice on Swiss insurance supervisory matters
- Manage correspondence and interactions with FINMA and, where required, other Swiss authorities
- Advise on regulatory requirements and supervisory topics affecting the business
- Support legal aspects of insurance product development and ongoing product governance, with a focus on supplementary health insurance
- Draft, review and maintain General Terms and Conditions (AVB)
- Provide practical legal support to internal stakeholders on regulatory and product-related matters
Experience & Qualifications
- Swiss MLaw or Swiss Bar admission is advantageous
- Solid experience in legal and regulatory affairs within the Swiss insurance industry
- Demonstrated experience working directly with FINMA, including regulatory filings and applications
- Strong understanding of Swiss insurance regulation and supervisory requirements
- Fluent German is a must
