Compliance Officer

• Process compliance onboarding requests from business and sales teams
• Perform AML/KYC checks in line with Swiss AMLA/GWG requirements
• Conduct UBO and ownership/control structure reviews
• Support sanctions, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption screenings
• Assess insurance (preferably life insurance) client relationships from a compliance perspective
• Act as liaison between Business and Compliance teams
• Clear compliance backlog within tight deadlines
• Document findings and maintain compliant case records

• Proven experience in AML and Financial Crime Compliance
• Strong knowledge of the Swiss AMLA/GWG regulatory framework
• Experience with UBO investigations and customer onboarding processes
• Insurance experience highly preferred, ideally in life insurance
• Banking experience also valuable, particularly with AML/KYC/UBO expertise
• Ability to quickly take ownership of cases and work independently
• Plug-and-play profile requiring minimal onboarding and training
• Strong operational mindset with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Swiss German
