Alpinum Solutions is the leading Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) in Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein, specializing in Interim Legal & Compliance workforce solutions for complex mandates. For our client, a prominent bank, we are looking for a Compliance AI Engineer to support the integration of AI and automation into its Compliance function. This role is positioned at the intersection of Compliance, technology, and AI, focusing on identifying practical AI use cases, developing internal tools, and automating Compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop practical AI and automation use cases within Compliance.
- Build and implement AI-enabled tools supporting KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, regulatory monitoring, investigations and reporting.
- Translate Compliance requirements into practical technical solutions and support the responsible implementation, testing and governance of AI tools.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in Compliance, Financial Crime, Risk, Regulatory or a related banking function.
- Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI/LLMs, automation and/or developing technology solutions; knowledge of Python, APIs, SQL or similar tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of banking Compliance processes, with experience in KYC/AML/transaction monitoring and an understanding of AI governance, data protection and regulatory requirements around AI being an advantage.
