Alpinum Solutions is a leading provider of managed legal services in Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein.
For our client, an international ICT service provider and part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, we are looking for a Legal Counsel & Privacy Manager (m/f/d) to support a temporary staffing shortage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to internal departments, particularly in the areas of data protection, contract law, IT law, digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI)
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support management and other departments
- Monitor and ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations
- Develop and implement company-wide data privacy policies
- Conduct privacy trainings for employees
- Handle data privacy inquiries and complaints
- Support the preparation of tender documents, particularly in compliance with procurement law
- Draft legally sound proposals and manage contract negotiations with clients
Experience & Qualifications
- Law degree (MLaw) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience as in-house legal counsel with focus on legal and/or data privacy functions
- Strong knowledge of Swiss data protection and contract law
- Experience in public procurement law is a plus
- Familiarity with the EU AI Act is an advantage
- Fluent in German and English
